Head Bobbing Motion Decoy

Had a little time over the weekend to work on the 1st prototype of the motion decoy I've been meaning to work on for a while.  It is basically a standard duck decoy that is outfitted with a small motor inside that moves the head (bill really) down into the water and then back up to the upright position.  Should cause some good ripple action in the water.  Plus it should look fairly realistic.  The mechanism worked well but I had a hard time fitting it into the decoy.  Back to the drawing board.
I hope to have this guy figured out before this year's duck season.  Might even be able to sell some custom-built (ie homemade) versions if all goes well.  Let me know if you are interested.  Contact me by commenting to this post or by filling out the contact page on http://www.mt-pelia.com/contact-us/ .

Jackite Duck Decoy

Jackite produces a "self-flying" decoy kite.  It needs a small amount of wind for flight, but is more life-like in a moderate wind of a few miles per hour.
Above is a video of the mallard duck drake Jackite we sell.  It is also available in mallard hen, canadian goose, snow goose and blackbird forms.  So there is a Jackite to suit your hunting decoy needs.
We are a distributor for Jackite products.  Please contact us at jcole@mt-pelia.com for pricing information.
If anyone in the Martin, TN area would like to test out the decoy shown in the video above, let us know.  We can probably work out a time for you to test it out.
